Creole Travel Services enhances product knowledge in South Mahe
On Saturday 06th May, the Sales & Marketing and Reservations Team of Creole Travel Services were up bright and early, fully energized for a day of visits in the South of Mahe. Leaving the bustle of Victoria, we made our way towards the more tranquil side of the island, where our first stop was at the Double Tree Allamanda Resort & Spa.
Located on the beachfront of Anse Forbans, this 4 star property offers spacious and comfortable accommodation in 30 Ocean View rooms, categorized as 24 King Guest Ocean View Rooms and 6 King Deluxe Ocean View Rooms with Jacuzzi. Facilities of the hotel include a restaurant, a bar, a swimming pool, all located on the same level, as well as a gym and spa which are set slightly apart and face the ocean, providing the perfect setting for a good workout or a relaxing massage. The beach is cocooned on either side by huge granite boulders and is further protected by a reef barrier in front. Double Tree Allamanda Resort & Spa is the perfect choice for couples wishing to be isolated from the crowd as well as for families with small children.
Leaving the resort, we continued our drive towards Baie Lazare for our second visit for the day at Valmer Resort. The hotel has recently added a new room category to its inventory, the Ocean View Suites, as well as introduced a gym and a spa, and we were all eager to see these new additions. We were not disappointed! The eight Ocean View Suites overlook the bay of Baie Lazare and are decorated in hues of blue to reflect the fresh feel of the ocean. In addition to the 8 Ocean View rooms, the hotel also features 4 Garden Studios, 12 Deluxe Villas, 2 Junior Suites, 2 two-bedroom family Villas and 1 Pool Villa, making it suitable for both couples and families alike. Facilities include a bar and restaurant, a swimming pool as well as the gym and spa, both of which are set amidst lush vegetation. Though not directly on the beach, the resort is only a few minutes away from the Baie Lazare beach.
After Valmer Resort, our next stop was at Anse Soleil Beachcomber, a small charming hotel overlooking the bay of Anse Soleil. The hotel consists of 5 Standard rooms, 5 Superior rooms, 4 premier rooms and 4 fully-equipped self-catering chalets, totaling to 18 rooms. Breakfast and dinner are served in the hotel’s only restaurant.
Our visit of Anse Soleil Beachcomber was not the last for the day. More information about the rest of our visit will be shared in our next newsflash. Do not miss out!
