Responsible To: Restaurant Manager

Duties and Responsibility:

Responsible for preparing alcoholic or non-alcoholic beverages and excellent guest drinking experience.

  1. Ensure that the bar is well stocked and replenished as required.
  2. Mix traditional and creative cocktails and mocktails by making suggestions based on customer tastes and preferences
  3. Process payment from customers
  4. Clean glasses and bar utensils
  5. Ensure the requisition of all liquor, tobacco stock and other bar items
  6. Ensure that the bar area that it is always kept clean and tidy all times.
  7. Ensure that the price list is up to date and prominently displayed at all times
  8. Ensure that all payments and customers’ bills are handled and settled as per the company’s policy and procedures.
  9. Record and balance cash receipts and maintain the bar float
  10. Assist in carrying out the cleaning schedule whenever necessary
  11. Any other related duties as maybe assigned

Qualification and Experience:

  • Certificate in Bar & Restaurant
  • Bar tendering skills, stock control skills
  • Good communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Able to communicate well in English and French. A third language is an advantage.
